Editorial method

Sources over scores.

We compare CS2 tools by the job they help you do, using product documentation and visible capabilities. Each guide states its recommendation, useful alternatives and limits. CounterStrikeStats is published by JumpThrow; the comparisons reflect that perspective and do not claim to be independent performance tests.

Start with the player’s task

Tracking form, reviewing a round and researching a skin are different jobs. A broad platform can be a useful starting point while a specialist tool is better for a specific question. Our guides compare those workflows instead of manufacturing one universal winner.

What counts as evidence?

  • Product source: JumpThrow routes, components and public pages establish the workflows we describe.
  • First-party documentation: A competitor’s own website supports claims about its advertised capabilities. The guide links to the source.
  • Observed behaviour: A check of a public page proves only the state described at the time of that check.
  • Editorial judgment: Recommendations connect those facts to a task. They are clearly expressed as choices, not measured outcomes.

The questions behind a comparison

  1. What input does the workflow need: a profile, match link, demo or config?
  2. What output helps answer the question: a summary, round replay, trend, export or catalog relationship?
  3. Which access and processing conditions matter?
  4. When would a different tool be a more useful fit?

What the comparisons establish

They establish documented feature fit. We do not claim to have run controlled accuracy, speed or player-improvement tests. Unless the guide explicitly supplies a measurement and method, it contains no such benchmark. Missing documentation means an unverified feature, not proof that a competitor lacks it.

Dates, prices and changing features

A visible review date belongs to a substantive review of that article. It is not updated automatically. Prices, integrations and access rules can change; confirm them on the product website before committing to a paid plan. Historical rating explanations identify the version they describe.

Follow the evidence

Comparison pages include their primary sources. Start with the tool comparison directory, explore match features, or read our ownership disclosure.
